On Sunday, March 25, 2018 was one of the most, joyous occasions for the Franklin United Methodist Church Congregation. We give All Praises TO God for allowing us to celebrate the Burning of the Mortgage! We were also truly blessed to have had our own Episcopal Leader, Resident Bishop LaTrelle Easterling of the Baltimore-Washington Conference to give us a powerful, spirit-filled sermon. Rev. Dr. Evan D. Young, Annapolis District Superintendent led the actual mortgage burning and the and the Act of Dedication. It was a day of welcoming our former pastors, Rev. Dr. Diane Dixon-Proctor and Rev. Charles Walker and Rev. Mamie A. Williams, former Annapolis District Superintendent. A souvenir booklet was designed and printed by Darlene Washington and she was assisted by Clementine Thompson.  We are thankful for all those that worked diligently on the various committees and we were especially thankful to the Records and History Ministry, chaired by Sis. Elaine Matthews along with her committee members: Elaine Brown, Brenda Holland, Patricia Gross, Olivia Thompson, Rev. Ann Parker-Offer and Elinor Thompson for spearheading this wonder celebration. We are continuously thankful for our pastor, Rev. Alhassan Macaulay and his wife for their encouragement and support in this endeavor.

THANK GOD FOR EVERYTHING HE HAS DONE!!!
